Café de Oriente launches an Á la Carte Menu

One of the biggest attractions of the Café de Oriente is its large terrace with views of the Royal Palace. But if we add a kitchen that pays careful attention to the product, the resulting combination is perfect. One of th best plans to enjoy this summer in Madrid.

The Café de Oriente, by the hand of its chef Roberto Hierro, has designed an á la carte menu for the summer months, with a selection of the best dishes, including starters, main courses, and desserts. A representative tour of the Café de Oriente’s kitchen and its gastronomic offer.

The à la carte menu is available from Monday to Sunday for both lunch and dinner. Enjoying the evening on the terrace with views to the Royal Palace make for an ideal plan.

The menu consists of the following:

A selection of the best entrees such as grilled natural artichokes with veal sweetbreads in Armagnac, or the scallop carpaccio with truffled cauliflower cream and watercress salad, among others.

Main courses such as the Madrid style cod, the hake in green sauce, rice, or the duck breast with apple compote, juniper raspberry, and berry sauce, and desserts like our famous Café de Oriente French toast with toffee and ice cream, or dishes so refreshing like the fruit salad.
